I wrote the following piece on Dec. 14 2023. It is the reality of the struggle I went through that I whittled down to the previous piece I wrote ‘Recap-23, what I wrote before I edited it.

I’m trying to get going. No, It’s not motivation I lack. I seldom wake up with no motivation. Each day is a new opportunity to do art.

The problem I’m having this morning is what I dare say about my “Don’t Forget You’re Human Exhibit”

Do I talk about the months spent trying to find a space to share my work? Do I talk about the long silence that echoed back to me when I made an appeal for assistance in finding that space? Do I talk about the disappointment I felt when I realized that yet again I was alone on that path leading nowhere? Do I talk about how often I had to put the art-making aside to pedal my case from one door to another? (to be continued in Recap-23 +2 – Please subscribe to read more)
